In the next three years, we want to continue to raise the next generation of leaders to transform the culture of human trafficking in Northern Thailand through our Daniel 1 Leadership Program. Our hope is to launch 3 new locations for the D1 Leadership Academy at the following univerisities: Chiang Mai University: Medicine, Mass Communication, and Architecture. Thammasat University, Lampang campus: Social work and Law. University of Payao: Health and Nutrition Science.
JTTWF Thailand would like to acquire a home within walking distance of each campus to host weekly Bible studies, shared meals, and workshops that help students grow in their faith and leadership skills. Each home will house two staff members that will lead the D1 program for that campus and up to 10 students. Students who are part of the Leadership Academy will be encouraged to invite their friends to weekly gatherings. Students in the Daniel 1 Leadership Academy receive University tuition, room and board, access to internships, and leadership training.We estimate that over 150 students will be impacted over the next 3 years at each University through this initiative. These students will be trained, equipped, and empowered to transform their future and build a life of economic stability for generations to come.
